1. New Worship Time and Schedule for November

Worship, 9:30 a.m., in the Sanctuary

10:50 a.m., the Equipping Hour

We are thrilled to expand our Sunday morning in-person schedule beginning November 1. In-person worship will start at 9:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary for a 60-minute worship service. Following worship, enjoy some time for community and coffee. Yes! We will be serving complimentary drip coffee and hot tea in our Coffee Bar area. In the future, we will look to open our coffee bar to full capacity again.

Then, you will be able to choose from several hour-long small group offerings for adults, families, and students, all of which will begin at 10:50 a.m.

You will no longer register for worship, but you will need to continue to make reservations for childcare.

If you need to continue worshipping from home, you will be able to join us for LIVESTREAM Worship at 9:30 a.m. The link will be provided on the church website. Note: Beginning this Sunday, November 1, we will no longer post a pre-recorded worship service on Vimeo or YouTube. The livestreamed service at 9:30 a.m. will be available to watch again on YouTube on our "Grace Presbyterian Church Houston" page.

Communion on November 1

We are thrilled to celebrate the Sacrament of Communion this Sunday! Scripture reminds us that whether we are worshipping from halfway around the globe, from our living rooms, or from the Sanctuary that we are God's people and are one body through the Spirit of Jesus Christ, our Lord! (1 Corinthians 12:12-13). If you are worshipping from home, please make sure to have your communion elements ready at home or stop by the church office to pick up individual Communion element sets from the receptionist desk.

Time Change Reminder!

Don’t Forget to set your clocks back one hour on Saturday night!

3. Mark your Calendars For Christmas For the City

December 13

Each year in December, our congregation comes together for a one-day service project to support a Houston-based mission partner. During Grace’s Christmas for the City, we can live out our faith by giving our time, resources and love to serve others.

This year we are excited to continue our partnership with Kids' Meals Inc., a Houston based organization that makes and delivers free, healthy lunches directly to the homes of preschool age children who don’t have access to school-based free meal programs. Read more about Kids' Meals here. Our goal is to pack 10,000 bagged lunches for Kids' Meals!

How you can Help:

  1. Purchase and decorate brown lunch bags and drop them at the Grace Welcome Center.
  2. Donate food items from our Amazon Wish List by Tuesday, December 1.
  3. Register to volunteer for packing bags on December 13. Registration opens Sunday, November 1.

When:Sunday, December 13 at 12:30 p.m.
