1. Welcome Our Guest Preacher, Rev. Wayne Park!

November 15

Reverend Wayne Park is a Korean-American minister who serves ecumenically in the Body of Christ across denominations and traditions. His passion is climbing into the shoes of people in the pews and figuring out what faith looks like for them at work and in the marketplace. He disciples small groups of people in spiritual practices that help them connect Sunday faith with Monday work. His bride of 18 years Ashley is a Virginia native, and he is the proud father to Austin and Zoe, both early teens doing online school in Katy. Once a Yankees fan, he is now an Astros devotee.

2. November Outdoor Worship On The Lawn

Physical Distancing ProtocolsFacial coverings are required when you are unable to physically distance or while moving around (but not while seated for worship with your family).

Family Fun on the Field

Sunday, November 15, 4:30 p.m., Grace Athletic Field

Join Children’s Ministries for a casual catch-up with friends before this week's Outdoor Worship Service. We’ll have balls for the kids to kick around while parents grab a few minutes together. Snag a popsicle before settling down for the service. Questions? Text Lisa Ann Henkel at 832-808-4255.

3. Mark your Calendars for Christmas for the City

December 13

Each year in December, our congregation comes together for a one-day service project to support a Houston-based mission partner. During Grace’s Christmas for the City, we can live out our faith by giving our time, resources and love to serve others.

This year we are excited to continue our partnership with Kids' Meals Inc., a Houston based organization that makes and delivers free, healthy lunches directly to the homes of preschool age children who don’t have access to school-based free meal programs. Read more about Kids' Meals here. Our goal is to pack 10,000 bagged lunches for Kids' Meals!

How you can Help:

  1. Purchase and decorate brown lunch bags and drop them at the Grace Welcome Center. (No stickers, please, because they fall off during delivery!)
  2. Donate food items from our Amazon Wish List by Tuesday, December 1.
  3. Register to volunteer for packing bags on December 13. Register HERE.
