1. Paul Revere Middle School Build Day!
Saturday, November 6, 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Grab your tools and join us at Paul Revere Middle School on Saturday, November 6! We are excited to be partnering with the school to rebuild an outdoor classroom area and beautify a portion of the campus.
In these social distance times, we haven’t been able to mentor the students on campus. This outdoor space will allow us to share Jesus’ love through mentoring and reconnecting with the students, faculty members and teachers.
We will spend time removing old decking, trimming trees, and hauling away trash. If you have any of the following tools, please bring items with you:
- Gloves
- Hammers
- Pry Bars
- Shovels
- Rakes
- Pruning shears
- Wheel barrows
Children participating must be 13 or older and with an adult. Your time commitment can be flexible, come for two hours or the entire time. Please bring a water bottle and lunch is included. Contact Kristy Elmore Kelmore@gpch.org to confirm your participation and for more specific instructions.

2. Stewardship 2021-Deep Roots, Deep Love

Why is Stewardship important?
The Grace annual budget is a compilation of the estimates of your giving. A stewardship campaign is important for our session because it enables them to make decisions about which ministries and programs may be funded, maintained, and grown throughout the coming year. While giving to Grace throughout the year without an advanced commitment is fully appreciated, it doesn’t provide the session with the information needed to plan and budget for what lies ahead.
Sometimes life happens, like an unplanned major expense or a job change. When life brings change--positive or negative-- it’s fine to change your commitment during the year.
Deep Roots, Deep Love
You’ve seen these words since the September launch as the title of the current sermon series on Romans. Yet when thinking about stewardship these words are just as apt. We see the roots in the legacy of our past, the foundation of a church built through Christ, and the growth potential deep roots can produce. Deep roots allow the deep love of Christ to flourish within us and enable us to pass it on through discipling and caring for others.
Your commitment allows the roots to grow deeper and the love of Christ to empower the people of Grace.

Every person shall give as they are able, according to the blessing of the LORD your God which He has given you. Deuteronomy 16:17

3. Monthly Evening Worship and Potluck Dinner

Sunday, November 7, in the Chapel
5:00 p.m. Worship, 6:00 p.m. Potluck Dinner
Worship - In the Beatitudes, Jesus offers us a vision of how to embrace the kingdom of God and invites us into practices for living a life of faith in the world. Over the next few months we invite you to join us on this journey of worship as we look at how these teachings of Jesus form us as followers of Christ through the words, postures, and practices of Jesus himself. Note that this worship service will be completely different content from the Sunday morning series on Romans.
Food - Following worship will be a potluck dinner in Massey Tucker Hall. In November our main dish will be fried chicken, please bring a side dish of your choice-enough to feed your family plus four more. Just drop your goodies in MTH before worship then we’ll enjoy them after worship!
