A Time of Transition
This is a significant moment in the life of our church, but the hand of the Lord is very visible to us. Trey, the Session, and Leadership Team will continue working in concert to ensure a smooth transition and to set up Grace for long-term flourishing. We move forward with confidence and hope as Grace Church. We move forward with great appreciation and admiration for Trey Little.
As Trey has always told us, “The future is bright!” and we can live READY to say yes to God’s great plans for us — as a people and a church.
You can find information about this time of transition and other updates HERE. The web page will be continually updated in the coming weeks as plans unfold.
"Kitchen Table Talk" - Times to Talk Grace Transition
Sunday, August 2, 7 p.m. on Zoom, Wednesday, August 5, 7 p.m. on Zoom
Join us for a Grace Family “Kitchen Table Talk” to discuss important matters during this time of Transition. Much like in our own families and homes, some of the best and most important conversations are held around the kitchen table. Pull up a chair to join our virtual table talk THIS Sunday, August 2, at 7 p.m. or NEXT Wednesday, August 5 at 7 p.m. on Zoom. You can be a part of the conversation by clickingHERE.
Please join us in thanking Trey for his six years of ministry and leadership as our Senior Pastor. While it is our regret that we will be unable to physically join together for fellowship and prayer, this will be our best opportunity to say "Goodbye and Best Wishes" to our much-loved pastor and his family. Trey and Niki look forward to connecting with the Grace family at a responsible distance at this drive-by celebration.
The following are simply suggestions for making this a fun and meaningful celebration not only for the Littles but also for the church family. These ideas are certainly optional -- feel free to keep it simple or make it grand, but please do come regardless!
- Decorate your car and/or bring signs
- Drop off a note of gratitude and/or love offering for Trey
- Wish Trey a Happy Birthday, which he will celebrate the next day
- Have your children draw a picture of their favorite VBS time with Trey
- Greet your friends from afar while you queue in a snaking reception line
- Roll down your windows to enjoy music

Moments of Grace
Online Tool
Moments of Grace is an online tool to share where you see good things happening and God at work. It’s a safe place to “snapshot” a short story, a great picture, a praise, some kindness—wherever you see Jesus visible. Just click on the link HERE to write a short description of your moment and upload a picture (optional). We would love for our Grace family and beyond to see how God is moving through the moments of our congregation.

Clothed By Faith
Last year Grace began to partner with Clothed by Faith. We placed a clothing donation bin on our campus to support their efforts. Due to Covid-19, we want to encourage you to foster this partnership by making donation at their warehouse. Clothed by Faith is accepting clothing donations and is very grateful for your continued support. They accept gently used clothing and shoes, and only new socks and undergarments. Please check their website (www.clothedbyfaith.org) for their latest needs and to review important guidelines regarding the suitability of garments to be donated. Donations can be dropped off at their warehouse: 802 Dominion Drive, Ste. 100-300, Katy, 77450. Thank you again for your help in clothing our neighborhood.

Stephen Ministry Cares
When was the last time someone listened, really listened, to you? We’re talking about that undistracted, full-attention kind of listening, the kind of listening that is always confidential. That is one of the ways Stephen Ministers care for others.
Grace needs more Stephen Ministers to care for those who are making that long journey through the valley of a life crisis, which could be a death, a divorce, loss of a job, a new baby, COVID 19, any number of things that could cause a major disruption in life. A new training class of Stephen Ministers will start soon. Will you consider serving in this way? For more information, contact Denise Phelps at dphelps@gpch.org or Susan Jernigan (713-582-3332).
