1. VBS 2021: Was Amazing!

We had an awesome week together as we learned to PRESS PLAY and GET IN THE MIX by following Jesus and living our lives for Him! We had 300 kids, as well as another 200 teen and adult volunteers! We raised $2,076 to benefit Friends of Samburu in Kenya, collected 500+ containers of pasta for the WHAM (West Houston Assistance Ministries) Food Pantry, decorated 1413 lunch bags and packed over 500 lunches for Kids’ Meals! 2. Pray for our High School Mission Trip

High School Mission Trip Commissioning, Sunday, July 18 in worship

Join us in prayer on Sunday and throughout the week as we commission our high school students and leaders as they depart Sunday for their mission trip. They will be in San Antonio July 18-23 to make a difference in the lives of people there. Partnering with Blueprint Ministries, our team will be doing construction, clean up and evangelism alongside other teams working with Blueprint Ministries. Please pray for travel mercies, worksite safety and for the students to experience God’s grace and love in a new way.

3. Combined Adult Equipping Hour Class

August 1, 8, 15, and 22 in MTH

Framework for Disciple-making with Guest Speaker, Pastor Steve Norris

Join us on August 1, 8, 15, and 22  as we gather as one combined adult class to learn and discuss the Framework for Disciple-making. Led by Pastor Chris French and guest, Steve Norris, we will hear stories of discipleship from Grace members and cover the following topics:

• The Challenge and Goal of Discipleship
• The Skills of a Disciple-Maker
• The Phase of Disciple-making
• The Content and Application of Discipleship

Steve Norris completed his doctorate in Outreach and Discipling from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in 2014. He is the Director of Discipleship and teaches at Grace School of Theology and adjunct professor at Grace, TCA in Singapore and HBI in Chennai, India.

Communication Change

We have made the decision to discontinue our Sunday morning email. It was developed out of uncertainty regarding schedules and protocols during the pandemic. Now that our Sunday mornings are more stable, we can be more secure in the Grace Weekly information on Thursdays.

• Amount Needed Prior to Year End - $2,062,942

We are 53 percent through 2021 and have collected 43 percent of our goal. This puts us $352,942 behind our goal to date.
