1. Student Ministries Car Wash

Saturday, April 24 from 1-3 p.m.

Student Ministries will meet at Grace and give out FREE car washes to anyone in the area. Really, we mean FREE! This is a gift for the community!

To deliver such a big gift, we need lots of volunteers of ALL ages, so we could really use your help! Students can earn service hours by participating in the car wash, and they can earn an EXTRA hour by setting up with us at noon. We can’t wait to serve with you! We are THRILLED to tell you that in-person VBS will be back this summer, July 12-15!

Registration is opened exclusively to our church families through Sunday, April 25. We will open up to Grace School families April 26-30 and to the public on May 1. We expect to completely fill our crews, so please do NOT wait to sign up. To maintain COVID safety protocols, our numbers will be smaller but the relationships we build with our God will be bigger than ever! Register HERE.

3. Garage Sale with Friends of Samburu

April 28-May 1, 12214 Fieldsboro Drive, Houston, 77031

Grace Student Ministries and Friends of Samburu, Kenya are having a garage sale to raise funds for their programs, projects, and mission trips. Events such as this are a huge way that we raise money for students to come on mission trips during the summer, so your help would be incredibly appreciated! With the date approaching soon, there are several ways you can help:

• Item Donations: If you have any items that you would be interested in donating for the purpose of the garage sale, please let us know what item(s) that would be, how we can best contact you, and how we can get the item from you.
• Volunteers: We need parents and students to help us with set up on April 28, the garage sale itself, and then take down the afternoon on May 1. Students who work at this event will receive service hours. To sign up for a time slot, click HERE.

2021 Collections Goal: $3,800,000

Actual 2021 Collections to date:  $729,136

Amount Needed Prior to Year End: $3,070,864

We are 31 percent through 2021 and have collected 19 percent of our goal. This puts us $436,892 behind our goal to date.
